Nonsurgical Fat Reduction

Men and women who are interested in a nonsurgical way of losing fat and tightening loose skin can benefit from Exilis body contouring. During a treatment, the Exilis device is guided gently over the treatment areas, creating a warming sensation that penetrates the skin at a controlled depth and temperature, eliminating fat and stimulating collagen to tighten the skin.

An Exilis treatment is:

  • Nonsurgical
  • No pain
  • No downtime
  • No anesthesia
  • No needles
  • No recovery
  • Return to your normal activities that day!

Dr. Alexander Nein is a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in body contouring. Dr Nein selected this device for use in our practice. Here is why:

“Exilis Elite is a device which allows us to reduce fat and tighten skin without surgery. The Exilis Elite delivers lasting and measurable results in an advanced non-invasive aesthetic system. Four treatments performed in the office without the need for anesthesia or sedation. Drive yourself here, drive yourself home. No pain, no recovery. It works.

Those of you familiar with our practice know that this is the first device of this sort that we’ve incorporated into our practice. In the nearly twenty years that I’ve been in practice I have regularly attended the plastic surgery society meetings where all of the latest advances in plastic surgery and associated technology are reviewed. At those meetings I have seen literally hundreds of “aesthetic” devices and have studied the value of a great many of them. I have never added any such device to our practice because I have never been convinced from a scientific standpoint or a clinical outcome that these devices actually provided a reliable long term benefit to patients worthy of patient expectations and cost — until now.

The Exilis Elite allows us to reliably remove fat and tighten skin without surgery. Better in my opinion than CoolSculpting®, Laserlipo™, SmartLipo™ or any of the other devices I’ve researched. I’ve studied the science behind this device and looked at actual patient outcomes. I’ve even had it done to myself as has every member of our office including a number of family members. Without exception, we are all convinced that this will allow us to provide more complete aesthetic care to all our patients.”

In addition to Exilis, Dr. Nein offers a full range of surgical and nonsurgical treatments for the face and body, helping men and women look their best throughout the Nashville, Tennessee area.

Dr. Nein will conduct a physical examination of your desired treatment area(s) and review any variables that may affect your outcome. He will also outline the procedure details with you, including cost information, his recommended number of sessions for meeting your goals, and the procedure’s limitations. Most patients achieve the best results after a series of about four sessions over the course of one to two months.

Your Recovery & Results

The Exilis body contouring treatment requires no downtime, and is a simple walk-in, walk-out procedure. You may have some lingering pinkness in the treated area, which will fade soon after your treatment. Patients should increase their water intake on the day before, the day of and the day after treatment and engage in light exercise, such as brisk walking, to stimulate blood flow and enhance cosmetic results.

After you have completed your Exilis treatment, the treated area should appear noticeably rejuvenated. Fine lines and wrinkles should be reduced while the stimulation of collagen should tighten and refresh the skin’s surface. The area should appear slimmer with less pockets of excess fat, providing smoother, sleeker and healthier looking contours to the face or body.
