Thigh/Buttock Lift is a procedure to tighten, and thus make more attractive, a patient's thigh and buttock skin. You want to have this procedure if you have experienced a loss of skin elasticity of the thighs, hips, or buttocks.
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia on an outpatient basis unless otherwise advised by Dr. Nein. Afterward, the patient is placed in a compression garment (similar to a long-line elastic support girdle) to reduce swelling and assist in the shrinking and tightening of the skin.
Additional procedures that may enhance the result include Liposuction/Liposculpture, Breast Enlargement, Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty), etc.
The specific risks and suitability of this procedure for a given individual can be determined if you visit Dr. Nein's office for a consultation. Contact us by phone for more information.
All surgical procedures have some degree of risk. Minor complications that do not affect the outcome occur occasionally. Major complications are unusual. This procedure is considered cosmetic and therefore is not covered by insurance. The patient is responsible for payment.
