The DermaSweep System utilizes a variable level vacuum system and an assortment of treatment tips to gently remove the top most layer of skin. The skin is left smoother as the vacuum wand stimulates blood flow, cleans the pores and move skin debris to a HEPA filter. The increase in blood flow to the skin’s surface encourages collagen formation thus firming and toning the epidermis as well.

This treatment is safe and painless. The skin may feel mild tightening after exfoliation but the surface will be quite smooth. The risks associated with traditional exfoliation or microdermabrasion are eliminated. DermaSweep does not use aluminum oxide crystals that can be embedded in the skin and cause irritation.

A DermaSweep treatment typically takes thirty minutes. Your skin will feel warm after the treatment and a pinkish glow can last up to thirty minutes.

As with all treatments performed in our office, you will need to wear sunscreen daily to protect treated skin and your Esthetician will explain an at home regimen of skin care to you.
